Rice Women's Ultimate Frisbee, or Torque (previously "Miss Red" and "Catch Her on the Fly"), is a competitive club team composed of a diverse group of girls. We come together from a variety of different backgrounds to not only compete, but have fun and encourage each other.  Whether you are an athlete who misses competitive sports and being part of a team, or looking to make friendships that last a lifetime, you will find what you are looking for when you join Rice Women's Ultimate.

 

We are a growing program with a history of success! Torque won back to back D-III National Championships in 2014 and 2015 and came in second at Nationals in 2016. We also qualified for the D-III National Championships in 2018 and 2021! We are a competitive team that works hard but also loves to have fun!  Absolutely no experience is necessary to join!
